Safety Officer - WSHO
6 days (Monday - Saturday)
Location: Paya Lebar
Basic Salary: $4000 - $6000

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies, procedures, and risk management measures at project sites.

• Conduct regular site inspections and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with WSH regulations and company requirements.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Prepare and maintain WSH documentation, including Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and safety records.

• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and WSH briefings for employees and subcontractors.

• Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting operations, work at height, electrical works, and confined space activities.

• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and authorities on safety-related matters.

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure work activities are carried out in accordance with statutory and company safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Possess WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health (Level C) or equivalent qualification.

• Relevant safety experience in construction, M&E, cleanroom, semiconductor, or industrial plant projects.

• Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations, Risk Assessment, and Permit-to-Work systems.
