We are committed to building a strong financial foundation that supports our growth ambitions, and we are looking for a seasoned finance professional to lead our Accounts function.
Role Overview
The Accounts Manager will oversee the full spectrum of the company's accounting operations, drive process improvements, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a small team while also contributing at an operational level.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analyses, and financial commentaries for senior management.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and treasury functions.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, and corporate tax obligations.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities (IRAS, ACRA).
• Develop and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop the Accounts Executive(s).
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis exercises.
• Drive continuous improvements to accounting processes and systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and HR on financial matters.
Requirements
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA / CPA qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Strong working knowledge of SFRS, GST, and corporate tax requirements in Singapore.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, SAP, or equivalent ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and work under tight deadlines.
