URGENT!! Process Engineer (Chemical) - Battery Recycling - #1161987

• Perm Role / 5 days work week

• Working location: Tuas (Transport provided)

• Great remunerations package (AWS + VB)

Responsibilities:

• Lead production operations in a battery recycling plant

• Plan and manage production schedules, manpower allocation, and output targets

• Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and operational performance

• Conduct performance reviews and manage team discipline, attendance, and training

• Support process troubleshooting and resolve production-related issues

• Drive continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives and support engineering investigations and corrective actions

• Ensure operators are trained and follow work instructions

• Monitor raw material usage, availability, and manage shortages

• Track machine performance, uptime, and coordinate basic maintenance activities

• Ensure compliance with 5S, housekeeping, and safety standards on the production floor

• Coordinate with maintenance team for TPM and equipment reliability improvements

• Maintain production records, skills matrix, and capacity planning data

• Prepare and present monthly production KPIs and reports to management

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related Engineering discipline

• Experience in manufacturing, preferably chemical or process industry

• Strong knowledge of production operations, manpower planning, and capacity planning

• Experience in process troubleshooting and production execution

• Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills

• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
