As a Principal Pharmacist (West), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the retail pharmacy, ensuring effective inventory replenishment, merchandising, housekeeping, cashiering, and the consistent delivery of high-quality customer service.

• Oversee retail team performance by conducting regular evaluations, providing coaching and development opportunities, and implementing training initiatives to strengthen product knowledge, customer service excellence, merchandising practices, and operational capabilities.

• Manage customer enquiries, feedback, and service recovery efforts, while driving continuous improvements in customer experience and service quality.

• Review, optimize, and enhance retail pharmacy workflows, including procurement, inventory control, stock returns, expiry management, and operational processes, to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.

• Monitor financial performance, sales trends, and service outcomes of the retail pharmacy, develop corrective action plans to address performance gaps, and identify opportunities to enhance revenue and operational effectiveness.

• Drive business growth initiatives through effective product portfolio management, pricing strategies, market expansion opportunities, and the implementation of revenue-generating programs.

• Partner with internal stakeholders and procurement teams on contract management, licensing compliance, workforce planning, supply chain optimization, and national healthcare initiatives to support operational goals.

• Develop and maintain pricing governance frameworks to ensure accurate and timely pricing implementation, effective margin management, compliance with operational workflows, administration of subsidy-related processes (e.g., CDMP and Medifund), and adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Possess a Degree in Pharmacy accredited by the Singapore Pharmacy Council with at least a 5 years of experiences in pharmacy related work.
