Assistant Warehouse Manager (Food Manufacturing / Japanese MNC / 5 days) JL55 - #1161946

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch activities.

• Lead, supervise, and manage a team of 25 Warehouse Assistants to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

• Monitor inventory accuracy through stock counts, reconciliation, and proper inventory management practices.

• Coordinate with Production, Planning, and Logistics teams to ensure timely material movement and order fulfillment.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and company operational standards.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

• Experience managing a large warehouse team (20+ staff preferred).

• Familiar with inventory control, warehouse operations, and ERP/WMS systems.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in food manufacturing will be an advantage.
