Facilities Technician (M&E / Building Maintenance) - #1161926

• Position: Facilities Technician

• Location: Tuas Crescent - Company transport provided (Pick up point at Jurong East and Marsiling MRT)

• Working hours: 5 days (11.30am – 8.45pm)

• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $4000 + Bonus + 14 days annual leave + Medical + Hand phone allowance $50 & Shift allowance $300)

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Wholesale of diesel-powered generators
  

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Senior Facilities Engineer to ensure smooth daily facilities operations with minimal unscheduled disruption.

• Support compliance with relevant authorities and statutory requirements.

• Execute preventive maintenance programmes for building equipment and ensure inspections and testing are carried out as required.

• Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure building services works are completed according to contracts or work orders.

• Conduct daily operations and routine inspections of building facilities.

• Take regular meter readings and ensure systems are operating in optimal condition.

• Perform general maintenance works, including building repairs, electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing and sanitary systems.

• Supervise outsourced security services and ensure security procedures are properly carried out.

• Act as second-in-charge for Site Incident Controller duties and support the Company Emergency Response Team.

• Assist the Fire Safety Manager in regular fire safety inspections and support FSM duties during absence, where applicable.

• Perform other duties assigned by the immediate superior.

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC in Engineering (Mechanical & Electrical/ Building Services/ Facility Management or equivalent)

• At least 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance or related maintenance work.

• Technical knowledge in building, mechanical and electrical systems.

• Experience in building repairs, electrical, ACMV, plumbing or sanitary systems will be an advantage.

• Possess class 3 driving license an added advantage
