Air Freight Manager - #1161893

Position: Air Freight Manager
Salary: up to $7000
Working Day: 5.5 Days
Working Hour: 9am-5.30pm | 9am-1pm (Alt Sat)
Working Location: Alps Ave (nearest MRT Changi Airport)

Job Responsibilities:

• Overseeing, mentoring, and assisting the Airfreight Import Customer Service team while making sure employees effectively handle all import procedures.

• Keep an eye on all daily import operations, such as billing, job closure, customs compliance, shipment documentation, and carrier coordination. Make ensuring that defined procedures and service standards are followed.

• Determine operational bottlenecks, put process enhancements into place, and assist efforts to improve workflow effectiveness.

• Monitor team performance in relation to SLAs and KPIs, give comments, and report problems to the manager when necessary.

• Respond to complicated import-related consumer questions and, if necessary, act as a point of escalation for service problems

• To guarantee that import shipments are executed smoothly, coordinate with Customs, Airfreight Operations, and other departments.

• Support the establishment and implementation of import customer service policies and staff compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Demonstrated capacity to manage a group of people and improve KPI performance. (15-18 employees in customer service)

• Strong proficiency with all aspects of air import procedures. (local operations in singapore)
