Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) / Tender Manager (Building & Industrial Projects) - #1161845

• Established A1 Main Contractor

• Basic $4,600 to $9,000 (Depending on Experience)

• Working location: Headquarters (North-East Singapore)

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am to 6pm)

Join an established A1 Main Contractor with a strong track record in industrial, logistics, warehouse, and building construction projects.

Candidates with strong tendering and commercial experience may be considered for either Senior Quantity Surveyor or Tender Manager positions based on qualifications and experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and tender submissions for building and construction projects

• Review tender drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and contract documents

• Perform quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and pricing evaluations

• Source, evaluate, and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers

• Prepare tender costing sheets, commercial proposals, and cost build-ups

• Identify discrepancies in tender documents and raise clarification queries when required

• Coordinate with internal teams including design, planning, procurement, project, and M&E departments

• Review tender requirements, contractual conditions, and commercial risks

• Participate in value engineering and cost optimization exercises

• Monitor tender schedules and ensure timely submission of proposals

• Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors on tender matters

• Attend tender interviews, negotiations, and post-tender clarifications when required

• Support tender handover and project transition upon award

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Tendering, or Pre-Contract functions

• Experience with main contractors will be highly preferred

• Candidates with exposure to industrial, commercial, institutional, residential, mixed-use, or building construction projects are welcome to apply

• Good understanding of tendering processes, cost estimation, and subcontractor management
