Sales Manager (BYD) - #1161803

About the Role

BYD by 1826 is seeking experienced Sales Managers to lead our growing retail sales teams across Singapore.

We currently operate BYD showrooms at:

• Suntec

• Zhongshan Park

• IMM

• Waterway Point

and will be launching a new 4S flagship location soon as we continue expanding.

This role will be responsible for managing showroom sales performance, coaching Sales Consultants, improving conversion rates, and ensuring excellent customer experience across each location.

Each Sales Manager will lead one showroom team and report directly to the General Manager, Sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily sales operations for an assigned showroom location

• Manage and coach a team of Sales Consultants (SCs)

• Drive showroom sales performance and conversion rates

• Ensure proper lead follow-up and customer engagement

• Monitor showroom discipline, attendance, and operational standards

• Support test drive management and customer experience execution

• Track team performance and ensure achievement of monthly sales targets

• Work closely with marketing and management teams on lead generation initiatives

• Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales talent

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of automotive sales experience

• Prior experience in a sales leadership / team management role preferred

• Strong understanding of showroom operations and customer conversion

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets

• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities
