Responsibilities:
Provide engineering leadership to ensure technical excellence, process stability, equipment reliability, and operational readiness in support of business and customer requirements.
Lead the setup, validation, and optimization of operational processes, testing workflows, and equipment configurations to achieve performance, quality, and productivity targets.
Develop and maintain engineering standards, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure operational consistency, compliance, and best practices.
Manage the complete equipment lifecycle, including installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and asset replacement planning.
Serve as the technical escalation point for complex equipment and process-related issues, driving root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, equipment uptime, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process transfers, engineering changes, and new line implementation projects to ensure successful operational deployment.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Customers, and external vendors to implement new technologies, equipment, and process improvements.
Deliver technical training and mentoring to operational teams, strengthening technical competencies and troubleshooting capabilities.
Monitor engineering KPIs and equipment performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve process capability, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience in manufacturing, logistics, automation, or a high-volume operational environment.
Strong hands-on experience in equipment implementation, process setup, commissioning, and optimisation.
Proven track record in troubleshooting complex technical issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience supporting NPI, process transfers, or new line implementation projects.
Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
