Job Summary
As a Data Analyst Intern (STO), you will support enterprise transformation programmes by enabling data-driven insights, performance tracking, and governance reporting.
You will work closely with transformation leads, business units, and cross-functional teams to analyse datasets, develop dashboards, and generate actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Preparation
- Collect, consolidate, and validate data from multiple sources
- Clean and preprocess datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Support maintenance of a single source of truth for reporting
Data Analysis & Insights
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights
- Analyse KPIs and operational metrics
- Provide data-backed recommendations
Dashboarding & Visualisation
- Develop dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Translate datasets into clear visual insights
- Support reporting automation efforts
Reporting & Governance
- Support preparation of reports for senior management
- Assist in tracking programme performance and risks
- Contribute to data quality and validation processes
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs
- Align data definitions and reporting standards
- Collaborate on transformation initiatives
Documentation
- Document data sources and methodologies
- Maintain structured records for auditability
Duration
3 to 6 months (with possible extension)
Skills & Experience
- Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science or related fields
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI
- Familiarity Agentic AI preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Proactive and eager to learn
- Ability to work independently and in teams
