Brief Summary:
Join a prestigious construction firm as an Assistant Manager in Cost Control/Contract, where your expertise will play a crucial role in managing major projects and driving financial success.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee tender and project reviews for major projects, ensuring accurate cost forecasting and reporting.

• Formulate procurement strategies and contract legal strategies for the tender and pre-contract phases of projects.

• Analyze costs at tender submission to ensure competitiveness and communicate risks to senior management, providing necessary recommendations.

• Conduct audits of projects to assess report accuracy and manage financial and legal/contract risks while collaborating with the QS and contract administration teams.

• Assist with project commercial and legal matters, including Extensions of Time (EOTs) and cost claims.

• Liaise with various group companies to coordinate meetings regarding tender submissions and project cost control to enhance risk management.

• Attend project profit and loss reviews and feedback meetings to analyze causes of profit fluctuations and suggest preventive measures.

• Assist in the training of staff on the new cost control system and report on current tender and project situations across group companies.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in quantity surveying or a related field.

• At least 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, including coordination roles, with a proven record of success.

• Strong knowledge of risk analysis and risk management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across all organization levels.

• High ethical standards and integrity.

• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices, laws, and trends.

• Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset that is data-driven and analytical.
