Production Management
Assist the Production Manager in managing daily production activities.
Work on production planning, and ensure production schedules are achieved according to delivery timelines and customer requirements.
Monitor production output, yield, costing, machine utilization, wastage, and downtime.
Coordinate with warehouse, QA and logistics teams to support production flow.
Production Operations
Expertise in meat processing and manufacturing of meat products
Ability to manage and participate in day-to-day production operations in a hands-on manner.
Research and develop new products, complete and implement processing specs on site.
Guide and train production operators on processing with skills and organize the production teams to achieve efficiency and accuracy.
Quality & Food Safety
Ensure compliance with HACCP, SFA, GMP, ISO 22000, and company food safety standards.
Monitor product quality, consistency, and packaging standards.
Ensure hygiene and sanitation procedures are strictly followed.
Support internal audits, external audits, and customer inspections.
Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions.
Team Management
Supervise production supervisors, line leaders, and production operators.
Conduct staff training on SOPs, food hygiene, workplace safety, and operational procedures.
Assist in manpower planning, attendance monitoring, and shift scheduling.
Maintain discipline and productivity within the production team.
Inventory & Cost Control
Monitor raw material usage and minimize wastage.
Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams on stock availability.
Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure accurate production documentation and reporting.
Workplace Safety
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations.
Promote safe work practices and proper PPE usage.
Report and investigate workplace incidents when necessary.
Job Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing or meat processing industry.
Candidate must be operationally hands-on and able to work closely with production teams
Experience with automated food processing equipment will be added advantage.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SFA, and food safety regulations.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Able to work in afast-paced manufacturing environment.
