OBJECTIVES & MISSIONS
Reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain and functional reporting to Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will coordinate and organise the receipt, shipment, and storage of spare parts, raw materials, and Customer’s equipment.
Your objectives and tasks:
Ensure the completion of all physical flows (incoming, internal, and outgoing) from the receipt of components or raw materials to the shipment of finished products to/from our Suppliers/ Customers within specific timeline
Receive/ Ship parcels (purchases) and Customer equipment
Ensure inventory reliability and security throughout the supply chain, from receipt to inspection, storage (in the Store), package and ship
Meet or Exceed Warehouse & Logistics key performance indicators
Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and site rules
MAIN ACTIVITIES
As part of the Warehouse & Logistics organization and with the aim of ensuring the continuity of repair production:
People, Warehouse equipment Management
Adopt problem-solving techniques in identifying and preventing issues
Perform material handling, receiving, warehousing, and/or shipment activities
Report any discrepancies or non-conformity, monitor and coordinate the follow-up action until final resolution
Identify administrative disputes and address them to the appropriate departments (Procurement or Administrative Logistics Officers)
Ensure that products are in physical and ERP stock (incoming, outgoing, and inventories) in compliance with the procedures
Managing the organisation of inventories according to storage and 5S rules
Conduct inventory count and preservation according to the rules in place and rectify discrepancies in a timely manner.
Pick products according to order preparation instructions and put together batches, kits, and parcels
Pack products to the specific Customers’ requirements and ensure the right transport modes
Prepare shipments, verify that shipping documents are available, conduct the required checks, and produce the product delivery documents
Ensure product identification and traceability throughout the supply chain
Collaborate with the Administrative Logistics Officer and the Sales Administration, Quality, Scheduling, Workshop, and Procurement teams
Perform daily & yearly (Financial) cycle counts and ensure highest level of inventory accuracy
Monitor Material shelf life and Quarantine locations and take regular actions to upkeep these locations to the optimum level
Motivate your team and participate in creative and innovative ideas contribution in continuous improvement activities
Adopt tools/ activities such as 5S, Gemba, Lean Concept and QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) to ensure up to date maintenance and Team’s performance.
Deal and liaise with Governmental Authorities in upkeeping the necessary licences
Ensure up to date procedure maintenance and compliance to standards
REQUIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Technical/professional skills
Good proficiency in office automation including Excel and Power BI and ERP system
Inventory techniques such as FIFO, shelf life management and storage optimisation
Dangerous goods regulations (ADR, IMDG, IATA)
Ability to use warehouse and logistics technologies such as barcode system, Materals Handling Equipment
Cross-functional skills
Teamwork: team spirit, good interpersonal and communication skill
Soft skills: visionary, creative, autonomous, rigorous, exemplary, organised, holistic
Ability to analyse, summarise, and propose solutions for problem solving
Responsive, systematic and organised, especially in document management
