Responsibilities:

Finance and Accounting

  • Oversee finance and accounting activities for the business unit, ensuring timely monthly and quarterly closing in compliance with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and Group policies.

  • Prepare GST and corporate tax submissions and coordinate with internal Tax teams to ensure timely compliance.

  • Review balance sheet accounts monthly and quarterly, including accruals and intercompany balances, ensuring accurate reconciliations and timely resolution of issues.

  • Prepare monthly Flash Reporting and provide financial analysis to support business and Group Finance stakeholders.

  • Support the completion of statutory and external audits for legal entities.

Financial Planning and Budgeting

  • Partner with Business teams in the preparation of forecasts and annual budgets aligned with Group Finance guidance and business objectives.

  • Monitor business performance and support stakeholders in identifying and addressing gaps against targets.

  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.

Business Partnering

  • Serve as a trusted finance partner and advisor on matters including revenue recognition, deal structuring, capital investments, and business case evaluations.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Governance and Compliance

  • Maintain a high standard of integrity, governance, and compliance controls across financial processes including billing, accruals, payments, capital expenditure, and expense recovery.

  • Review finance-related contractual terms and assess revenue recognition implications.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audit and compliance requirements.


Skills for success

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification with relevant finance and accounting experience.

  • External audit experience and experience in a corporate or commercial environment would be advantageous.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across functions.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and business partnering capabilities.

  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
