Quality Control Technician - #1161246

Our client is a global MNC that manufactures and supplies specialty coatings, treatments, and chemicals. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Quality Control Technician to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West.

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for:

Supporting the company's quality control operations by conducting product testing and inspection activities to ensure products meet established quality standards and manufacturing requirements.

• Perform daily quality control testing to support manufacturing operations, incoming inspections, and recurring inspections.

• Assist in product quality investigations, including root cause analysis of customer complaints and production rejects, by reviewing records and conducting stability studies.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance objectives, including First-Time Right and manufacturing performance targets.

• Assist in maintaining the ISO 9001 Quality Management System through documentation control, internal audits, and adherence to good laboratory practices.

• Maintain compliance with company quality, safety, and workplace health policies and procedures.

• Carry out other duties related to quality control and laboratory operations as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC, Diploma, or an equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in a quality control or laboratory environment within the chemical manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Experience operating laboratory equipment such as Gas Chromatographs (GC), Differential Scanning Calorimeters (DSC), Autotitrators, and Karl Fischer Titrators is an advantage.

• Basic computer literacy and attention to detail are advantageous.
