About the role

My Client is seeking a Roadshow Assistant to support the successful execution of roadshows and promotional events across various locations. The role involves overseeing event operations, providing customer service and sales support, managing inventory, coordinating temporary staff and ensuring a positive customer experience while maintaining efficient day-to-day operations.

Salary: Basic + VB + Transport Coverage

Working hours: 5 Days work week (shift) with 1 weekday / 1 weekend off

Location: Islandwide

Responsibilities

• Support roadshow setup, teardown and day-to-day operational activities at various event locations

• Operate POS systems and handle cashiering duties, including opening and closing procedures

• Provide professional customer service and product recommendations to customers

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring stock accuracy and proper storage of roadshow materials

• Coordinate logistics, equipment and display materials to ensure smooth event operations

• Supervise and provide guidance to temporary staff during roadshow activities

• Maintain the condition of roadshow equipment, fixtures and fittings

Requirements

• Experience in cashiering, retail operations, roadshow activities or customer service will be advantageous

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Flexible to work across different event and roadshow locations as required

• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays based on operational needs

•Comfortable standing for extended periods, handling event equipment and supporting roadshow setup activities
