About the role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd. This is a full-time position based in the East Region. As Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a crucial leadership role in overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. This role is integral to maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the strategic objectives of our manufacturing facility.
What you'll be doing
Supervising and coordinating the activities of production teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of manufacturing tasks
Monitoring production schedules and ensuring targets are met whilst maintaining quality standards
Conducting regular inspections of manufacturing processes and products to ensure compliance with quality specifications and safety regulations
Training and developing team members on manufacturing procedures, safety protocols, and best practices
Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
Managing inventory levels and coordinating with procurement to ensure adequate materials are available for production
Responding promptly to equipment issues and coordinating maintenance activities to minimise downtime
Maintaining accurate records of production data, incidents, and performance metrics
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all manufacturing operations
Communicating effectively with senior management regarding production performance, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor or similar supervisory role in a manufacturing environment, ideally with 3-5 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and quality control procedures
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Competence in identifying and resolving operational issues with a proactive and problem-solving approach
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to manufacturing operations
Proficiency in using manufacturing software and production management systems
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and focus on quality
Relevant certifications such as OSHA, ISO standards, or quality management qualifications are desirable
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
