About the Role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support and maintain mainframe development tools and software configurations. The successful candidate will work closely with development teams, manage software deployments, automate processes, and ensure the smooth operation of mainframe application development environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance for mainframe tools, including JOBSCAN, ChangeMan SCM, IBM ADFz, File Manager, and Debug products.

• Support the transition from ChangeMan to IBM ADFz bundled products.

• Configure and maintain software configurations and management systems.

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for mainframe applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to development tools and environments.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth application delivery.

• Document processes, procedures, and system configurations.

• Perform other software tool administration and maintenance activities as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in related technologies.

• Hands-on experience with ChangeMan SCM, including configuration management and version control.

• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.

• Strong knowledge of mainframe development tools and technologies.

• Experience with REXX, JCL, or similar mainframe scripting languages.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
