Senior Finance Executive / Assistant Finance Manager - #1161064
Greenfields Dairy Singapore
Role Overview
A meticulous and commercially astute finance professional responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the Singapore and Export Market. You will support the Finance Director and Country Head with accurate, timely reporting and analysis that keeps the business financially sound and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting, Finance & Reporting
• Execute end-to-end accounting operations — journal entries, reconciliations, invoicing, collections, and payment processing accurately and on time
• Manage treasury, banking activities, and cashflow monitoring for the Export Market; build structured cashflow reports and flag funding gaps to Corporate F&A proactively
• Maintain accuracy and compliance across integrated financial systems (SAP)
• Own the monthly closing process and prepare statutory and management reports to the standard set by senior finance management
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors and Corporate F&A for annual audit completion
• Manage regulatory and corporate reporting obligations for the Export Market
• Coordinate with Corporate Head of Tax on GST, monthly tax reporting, annual returns, and statutory filings
2. Commercial Finance & Financial Analysis Support
• Compile and analyse profitability data across products, channels, countries, and key accounts on a regular and ad-hoc basis
• Extract, validate, and reconcile commercial data from SAP to support sales and trade performance reporting
• Build and maintain structured Excel-based reports and trackers to monitor revenue, margins, trade spend, and promotional investments
• Support the preparation of monthly commercial finance packs — translating raw SAP data into clear, actionable insights for the Country Head and Finance Director
• Assist in analysing distributor performance, pricing variances, and channel mix to surface trends and flag risks early
• Support budget and forecasting cycles by consolidating inputs and preparing variance analysis against actuals
• Respond to ad-hoc data and analysis requests from commercial and sales teams in a timely and accurate manner
3. General & Ad-Hoc
• Assist with Singapore office administration on financial, banking, and corporate secretarial matters
• Support ad-hoc finance reports and analysis as required
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 5–7 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Hands-on SAP experience is preferred — particularly in data extraction, reporting, and reconciliation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data modelling, variance analysis)
• Meticulous with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail
• Commercially aware — able to contextualise numbers and communicate insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, and collaborative across teams and markets
• FMCG or export market experience is an advantage
