About the role

We are seeking a Delivery Driver cum Store Assistant to join the team at New Prosperity Electrical (PTE) Limited in Pioneer Road North. This is a full-time position that combines operational delivery responsibilities with warehouse support duties. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient distribution of electrical products to our customers while maintaining organized warehouse operations. You will work on-site at our HQ at Pioneer Road North, playing a key role in supporting our logistics and warehousing operations.

Key responsibilities

1. Operate delivery vehicles to transport electrical products to customers within assigned routes in a safe and timely manner

2. Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring products are handled carefully to prevent damage

3. Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures as required

4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness

5. Assist with warehousing operations including receiving, storage and organization of inventory

6. Perform stock take activities and maintain accurate inventory records

7. Prepare orders for dispatch and ensure correct items are allocated to deliveries

8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicles

9. Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding delivery schedules and product information

10. Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

1. Valid driving license (Class 3) with a clean driving record

2. Experience working in a warehouse or storage environment

3. Physical capability to lift, carry and handle goods regularly

4. Strong organizational and time management skills

5. Excellent customer service and communication abilities

6. Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic

7. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

9. Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is preferred
