Project Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor - #1160953

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, cost sheets, BOQ, MTO, and tender submissions for facility hook-up projects.

• Perform quantity take-offs from isometric drawings, engineering drawings, P&IDs, and BIM models.

• Prepare material take-offs for piping, exhaust, electrical, and utility systems.

• Source and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations and conduct cost comparisons.

• Monitor project costs, variation orders, claims, and final accounts.

• Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Support project planning, procurement, progress tracking, and reporting.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, facility hook-up, MEP, or industrial projects. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Experience in preparing BOQ, MTO, cost estimates, and tender submissions.

• Able to interpret isometric drawings and perform accurate quantity take-offs.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.

• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor fabrication (fab) projects.

• Familiarity with BIM/Navisworks and project cost control.

• Knowledge of piping, exhaust, electrical, and utility systems in industrial facilities.
