URGENT: Business Development Lead (Construction / Geotechnical) - #1160874

Responsibilities:

• Acquire new clients and projects, meet sales and profit targets.

• Gather market insights, build client networks, and maintain strong relationships.

• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

• Review bid proposals with the tender team and make decisions with the director.

• Act as Bid Manager for large-scale projects.

• Collaborate within the BD team and across departments.

• Lead client negotiations on bids and contract terms.

• Coach and develop the tender/BD team via group learning and performance management.

• Protect and enhance the company’s brand and reputation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering.

• 8 – 12 years in construction industry experience (ground improvement preferred).

• Geotechnical design expertise and proficiency with relevant systems/software.

• Strong knowledge of market standards, business practices, and commercial/contractual aspects.

• Excellent persuasion, decision-making, conflict resolution, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Proven leadership in team building and alignment with company vision.

• Good networking ability.
