Shipping Coordinator - #1160872

Job Summary:

We're looking for a diligent and highly organized Shipping Coordinator to manage our logistics operations in Singapore. In this vital role, you'll ensure the smooth and cost-effective movement of goods from our factories to customers worldwide. Responsibilities:

• Maintain full spectrum of daily Logistics administration and documentations.

• Responsible for Order Processing: Receive orders from customers and input order to factories.

• Liaise with factories, carriers, freight forwarder and customers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

• Receive shipping documents from factories and process necessary shipping documents for customers.

• Check freight and/or other logistics invoices and tally with Finance Department for payment.

• Maintain logistic databases and assist in the preparation of the transportation and distribution statistics for analysis.

• Coordinate shipments to ensure quality and timeliness with transportation/freight forwarder/3rd party logistics partners.

• Working with freight/ocean forwarders to schedule shipments, track shipment status, and timely delivery to destinations.

• Any ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirement:

• Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 3 years of proven working experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sales administration or logistics support.

• Prior shipping work experience is highly preferred.

• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a self-motivated and results-oriented approach.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Good command of both verbal and written English and Mandarin to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates and international partners.
