RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER FOR TEMASEK POLYTECHNIC - #1160826

Candidates who meet the following requirements are invited to apply.

• Possess a recognized Civil/Structural Engineering diploma acceptable for registration with IES/ACES.

• Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Technical Officer Practicing Certificate.

• Minimum 5 years’ (RTO) experience in supervision of structural works.

• Preferably with prior experience in supervision of architectural and M&E works for on-site upgrading of local institutional buildings / swimming complex.

• Familiar with local codes and regulations.

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Project for project update and report.

• Able to start work ASAP

• Singaporean or Permanent Residents

Responsibilities

• Supervising and inspecting construction works as required under BCA regulations and ensure that all works comply with statutory and client requirements.

• Conduct compliance check on the implementation of mitigating measures in method statement, risk assessment and DfS register.

• Ensure proper maintenance and updating of site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements, shop drawings, as-built submissions etc.

• Be familiar with and check all method statement and drawings (including authority submission and shop drawings).

• Inspect and supervise architectural works and ensure quality and coordination with structural and mechanical and electrical.

• Willing to carry out night/weekend works, where required.

• Undertake any other duties related to the project assigned.
