Sales Manager (Industrial Engineering Solutions)
Reporting To: Senior Vice President, APAC
Salary Range: S$6,000 – S$8,000
Job Overview
We are seeking a driven Sales Manager to support business growth within technical industrial solutions. The role focuses on managing key accounts, developing commercial and technical proposals, and working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver optimized solutions for industrial project requirements.
This role combines commercial sales responsibility with technical coordination in a B2B project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day sales activities to ensure customer requirements are met in terms of delivery, quality, and service
Review and analyse Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and prepare competitive commercial and technical proposals
Participate in technical and commercial discussions with customers to clarify requirements and align solutions
Coordinate with internal departments, production teams, and regional offices to ensure smooth project execution and delivery
Develop new business opportunities while growing existing accounts to achieve sales targets
Maintain strong long-term relationships with customers across assigned accounts
Take ownership of customer satisfaction for key accounts, including post-sales coordination
Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales opportunities effectively
Drive margin performance through effective pricing and commercial strategy
Monitor account receivables and follow up on outstanding payments where required
Provide regular sales reports and updates to management
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline
5–8 years of sales or business development experience in industrial or technical solutions
Experience working with project-based industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC, marine, power, or process industries
Strong experience in RFQs, tendering, proposal preparation, and technical-commercial coordination
Familiar with working with EPC contractors, end users, and system integrators
Strong commercial acumen with proven track record in achieving sales and margin targets
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Self-motivated, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Willingness to travel up to 60%
Knowledge of international industrial standards (e.g. IEC/ATEX) is an advantage
Existing network in industrial sectors is an advantage
