The Role

Field Application Engineers serve as the technical and commercial bridge between the distributor's principals and its end customers. You will engage customers early in the design cycle understanding their requirements, recommending appropriate solutions from the principal portfolio, and providing the hands-on support needed to move a design from evaluation through to production. This role demands equal measures of engineering credibility and business acumen. You will be expected to build relationships, influence design decisions, and contribute directly to revenue through design wins.

What You Will Do

• Identify and develop design-win opportunities with new and existing customers across Singapore

• Engage customers technically to recommend and demonstrate solutions from a programmable logic product portfolio

• Collaborate with principal vendors to plan and execute joint technical promotional activities

• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions for customer engineering teams

• Provide structured troubleshooting support throughout the customer design cycle, from evaluation to production

What We Are Looking For

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related discipline

• Hands-on development experience with leading programmable logic platforms

• Proficiency in hardware description languages, including VHDL and SystemVerilog

• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience, OR fresh graduates with project-based/relevant experience will be considered

• Confident communicator with the ability to present technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical audiences

• Self-directed and effective working within cross-functional teams

• Willingness to travel regionally when required
