Events & Marketing Executive - #1160772

Role Overview

This is not a typical desk-bound marketing role.

You will help plan events, create content, support tenant activations, coordinate partners, work with creators and make L^IFE feel active both online and on the ground.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, understands youth culture, has a good eye for content, and wants to be part of building a new lifestyle destination in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate events, pop-ups, workshops, launches, tenant activations and weekend programmes at L^IFE.

Support the marketing calendar for L^IFE, including campaigns, tenant features, event promotions and community activations.

Create simple social media content, including photos, short videos, reels, stories, behind-the-scenes content and tenant highlights.

Support basic design work for posters, social media posts, event listings, EDMs, presentation slides and simple marketing materials.

Work closely with tenants to gather promotions, product highlights, campaign materials and content ideas.

Help make L^IFE relevant to Gen Z and youth audiences through events, collaborations, music, fashion, lifestyle, food, creators and cultural trends.

Coordinate with creators, KOLs, performers, DJs, artists, vendors, student groups, schools, partners and event organisers.

Be on the ground during events and activations to support setup, logistics, registration, guest experience, photography, content capture and post-event follow-up.

Support brand showcases, retail accelerator activities, workshops and tenant marketing initiatives.

Help drive footfall, tenant visibility, social media engagement and community participation.

Track basic results such as event turnout, tenant participation, content output, engagement and campaign response.

Assist with general marketing, event and administrative coordination where required.

What We Are Looking For

Outgoing, energetic and comfortable speaking to tenants, partners, creators and members of the public.

Good sense of Gen Z trends, lifestyle content, retail, fashion, beauty, food, music, creators or youth culture.

Basic content creation skills for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or similar platforms.

Basic design skills using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar platforms.

Hands-on and willing to be on the ground, not just working from a desk.

Organised, responsive and able to coordinate many moving parts at the same time.

Able to work independently but also comfortable supporting a small team.

Good attitude, strong follow-up and willingness to learn.

Comfortable working in a fast-moving retail, events and lifestyle environment.

Willing to support selected evenings, weekends and event days when required, with time-off arrangements where appropriate.

Good to Have

Experience in events, marketing, social media, retail, lifestyle brands, youth programmes, community activations or content creation.

Interest in local brands, entrepreneurship, pop-ups, experiential retail and youth-focused spaces.

Experience working with creators, vendors, event partners, schools or community groups.

Photography, videography, video editing or simple graphic design experience.

Important Working Style

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys being on the ground and making things happen.

The candidate should be comfortable supporting events, speaking to people, creating content, coordinating last-minute details and helping L^IFE look active and exciting both physically and online.

This is not suitable for someone looking for a purely desk-based or fixed-hours administrative role.
