About the role
Piacere Food Private Limited is seeking a talented and experienced CDP Chef De Partie to join our culinary team in the East Region. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our commitment to exceptional food preparation and service. As a Chef De Partie, you will take ownership of a specific section of our kitchen, working within a dynamic team environment to deliver consistently high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations. This role is pivotal to maintaining our standards of excellence and driving the success of our food operations.
Key responsibilities
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of your assigned kitchen station, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols, including proper storage, handling and sanitation procedures.
Manage inventory and stock levels for your station, minimizing waste whilst maintaining quality.
Collaborate effectively with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Maintain and care for kitchen equipment assigned to your station, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Contribute to menu development and suggest innovative dishes that align with our culinary vision.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Support the Head Chef in maintaining kitchen standards and operational efficiency.
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar senior kitchen position in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong culinary skills with expertise in your assigned station (sauce, larder, pastry, fish, meat, vegetables or other relevant section).
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices and kitchen health and safety regulations.
Excellent knife skills and proficiency with kitchen equipment and techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining quality standards during peak service times.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a busy kitchen environment
Attention to detail and a passion for consistency and quality in food preparation.
Flexibility with shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by the role.
