Job Responsibilities:

· Act as equipment owner for assigned CMP tools.

· Monitor and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and uptime.

· Analyze equipment alarms and chronic issues.

· Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve reliability.

· Define and optimize preventive maintenance (PM) plans and spare parts strategy.

· Support technicians in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, robotics, and software issues.

· Coordinate with equipment vendors for advanced support and escalation.

· Support specification, selection, installation, and qualification of new CMP tools.

· Lead/support equipment release to production, including capability and stability checks.

· Manage equipment upgrades, retrofits, and obsolescence projects.

· Work closely with process engineers to ensure equipment meets process requirements.

· Support yield, quality, and reliability investigations from equipment perspective.

· Ensure compliance with quality systems (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001 where applicable).

· Analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and chronic losses.

· Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and SMED activities to improve cycle time, cost, energy, and throughput.

· Standardize procedures, PM processes, troubleshooting guides, and documentation.

· Ensure strict adherence to EHS requirements (chemicals, slurry, gases, high voltage, vacuum, cleanroom, LOTO).

· Support risk assessments, FMEA, and safety improvement implementation.

· Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards (waste, emissions, etc.).

· Develop and maintain equipment documentation (SOPs, checklists, recovery plans, work instructions).

· Train and coach maintenance technicians on equipment operation and troubleshooting.

· Share best practices and contribute to knowledge transfer across teams and sites.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in CMP area.

• Familiar with CMP equipment such as AMAT MirraMesa, Ebara F-REX200, Ontrak, or similar tools.

• Strong troubleshooting skills with solid technical knowledge in equipment systems.

• Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving methodologies.

• Good communication and written skills with strong cross-functional collaboration ability.

• Positive learning attitude with strong sense of responsibility.

• High ownership mindset with commitment and flexibility to support operational priorities.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.
