Job Description:

· Own and support assigned semiconductor equipment (LAM XLE, LAM Rainbow, AMAT systems) to ensure high uptime and performance (OEE, MTBF, MTTR).

· Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across electrical, mechanical, vacuum, RF, gas, and software systems.

· Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures using structured methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).

· Monitor equipment health using SPC, FDC, alarms, and tool data analysis to ensure stable process performance.

· Work closely with Process Engineering to support yield, defect reduction, and process qualification activities.

· Drive continuous improvement projects to improve uptime, reduce cost, and extend equipment lifespan.

· Support vendor coordination for major repairs, upgrades, and chamber matching activities.

· Maintain proper documentation, SOPs, and maintenance records in CMMS/EHS systems.

· Ensure compliance with safety standards, cleanroom protocols, and EHS requirements.

· Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and junior engineers.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Semiconductor Etch processes, with hands-on familiarity in Etch equipment (LAM XLE and LAM Rainbow preferred).

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.

• Familiar with quality and reliability tools such as SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving methodology.
