Responsibilities:

• Oversees all aspects of day-to-day operations within the facility, ensure efficiency, safety and quality in chemical blending

• Direct production planning, resource management, workforce supervision and adherence to regulatory and safety standards

• Plan, direct and coordinate daily production operations and ensure that blending and manufacturing processes run smoothly to meet production targets and schedules; ensuring efficient and cost-effective production processes

• Enforce and monitor strict compliance with safety, environmental, and health regulations, and other related standards; lead safety training and ensure all team members are trained on hazard and PPE requirements

• Oversee quality control processes and ensure that the final product meets all quality standards, including consistency, composition, and safety standards

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and optimise resources.

• Coordinate the maintenance and reliability of all equipment, schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

• Supervise, mentor and develop a team of production staff; fostering teamwork and support continuous learning within the team

• Prepare and manage the operations budget, tracking and controlling costs while identifying cost-saving opportunities

• Work closely with other departments, to coordinate production schedules and resolve any operational challenges

• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a chemical. manufacturing or industrial environment

• Strong planning and coordination abilities, with experience working across multiple departments

• Good communication skills, good personality, and a strong team player
