Position Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Design & Application team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing semiconductor components, tooling, and engineering solutions while supporting product development, project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop semiconductor components, tooling, fixtures, and related engineering solutions.

• Prepare and maintain 2D/3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs.

• Support new product development from concept design through prototyping, testing, validation, and production release.

• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.

• Conduct engineering analysis, design reviews, and performance evaluations.

• Troubleshoot design-related issues and implement corrective actions.

• Optimize designs for manufacturability, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.

• Maintain project documentation and engineering records according to company standards.

• Participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, precision engineering, tooling, mold design, or related industries.

• Experience in component design, tooling development, and engineering project execution.

• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes is preferred.

Technical Competencies

• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software.

• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.

• Experience in creating detailed engineering drawings and documentation.

• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).

• Experience with prototype development, testing, and validation.

• Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
