Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Design & Application team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing semiconductor components, tooling, and engineering solutions while supporting product development, project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop semiconductor components, tooling, fixtures, and related engineering solutions.
Prepare and maintain 2D/3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
Support new product development from concept design through prototyping, testing, validation, and production release.
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Conduct engineering analysis, design reviews, and performance evaluations.
Troubleshoot design-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Optimize designs for manufacturability, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
Maintain project documentation and engineering records according to company standards.
Participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, precision engineering, tooling, mold design, or related industries.
Experience in component design, tooling development, and engineering project execution.
Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes is preferred.
Technical Competencies
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.
Experience in creating detailed engineering drawings and documentation.
Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
Experience with prototype development, testing, and validation.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
