Software Test Engineer (Automation Testing | SQL | API Testing | Java/C#) - #1160399

Role:

• We are seeking a hands-on software test engineer with strong experience in automation testing, SQL validation, API testing, and CI/CD integration.

• This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving technical challenges, building automation solutions, and improving software quality through modern testing practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.

• Build and execute API automation tests to validate backend services and integrations.

• Perform database validation and SQL testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

• Develop and maintain automated regression suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders in Agile environments.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and track defects through to resolution.

• Participate in test planning, test design, execution, and release validation activities.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks, testing standards, and quality practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in UI automation testing using Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Cypress or similar automation frameworks.

• Experience developing automation scripts using Java and C#.

• Strong experience with API testing and automation.

• Experience with tools/frameworks such as Rest Assured, Postman, Karate, Playwright API Testing or equivalent.

• Strong SQL knowledge with practical experience in joins, aggregations, data validation, backend testing, and query troubleshooting.

• Experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.

• Exposure to tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline.
