Senior Visual Merchandising Executive/Assistant Visual Merchandising Manager - #1160290

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

1. Core Rule

• Provide strong support as the on-site lead for visual execution within the store

• Accurately implement HQ direction (concepts/campaigns) at the store level

• Ensure the store is always maintained in a "sales-ready" condition

• Respond promptly and effectively to urgent issues and last-minute changes

2. Essential Capabilities

• Ability to solve problems independently on-site, even without detailed drawings or guidelines

• Strong understanding of installation, construction, and materials (signage, structure, lighting, etc.)

• Proven ability to work under tight timelines, including overnight setups when required

3. Commercial Sense

• Ability to evaluate decisions based on "what drives sales", not just aesthetics

• Understanding of how customer flow, visibility, and product exposure impact conversion and sales performance

4. Key Responsibilities (Day-to-Day)

• Execute and reset seasonal and campaign VM displays

• Manage store zoning and product placement

• Install and maintain signage and graphic elements

• Conduct regular store checks (cleanliness, damage, visual consistency)

• Set up and dismantle events and pop-ups

• Coordinate and manage external vendors and contractors

• Manage VM materials and budgets

• Handle urgent fixes and daily troubleshooting

5. Working Style - Hands-on

• Highly hands-on and execution-driven

• Willing to be actively involved in physical setup and on-site work

• Takes ownership and leads by doing, not just directing

Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time in order to maintain staffing flexibility and efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required To Perform Essential Functions:

• More than 5 years experience as VM and related industry

• Preference will be given to candidates with VM experience in department stores or multi-label retail environments, as opposed to single-category or single-brand settings.

• Graphic Design software (Adobe package, Illustrator etc)

• Primary research capabilities with the ability to apply various research methods
