THE JOB:
This role is responsible for supporting the effective day-to-day delivery of core Human Resources functions, including payroll, recruitment, benefits administration, employee engagement, HR projects, and policy administration and compliance. It works in close partnership with employees, hiring managers, and department heads to ensure that HR processes are managed in a structured, accurate, and compliant manner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Payroll Management
- Provide support for payroll processing and related activities.
- Review data changes, perform payroll reconciliation, prepare reports, and manage statutory submissions.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Manage job postings, review applications, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and support hiring managers in candidate selection.
- Conduct reference and background checks to identify any critical concerns.
Onboarding and Employee Administration
- Support new hire orientation, maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, track employee changes, and assist with payroll reviews.
Benefits and Compensation Management
- Administer employee benefits program, communicate updates to employees, and ensure timely compliance with relevant requirements.
Policy Compliance and Employment Law Adherence
- Ensure organizational policies are aligned with labour legislation, maintain compliance, address employee concerns, grievances, and site incidents, and review workflows and procedures for compliance.
Employee Relations and Support
- Liaise with department heads and employees to resolve workplace issues and enhance the overall employee experience.
HR Integration & Project Management
- Support the integration of HR policies and processes, contribute to HR initiatives, and help build sustainable HR infrastructure, systems, processes, and practices.
- Assist with annual SACE, ISO, and external audits.
Organisational Development & Transformation
- Support the local rollout of diversity and corporate culture initiatives.
- Support operational changes related to annual Progressive Wage Model (PWM) cost adjustments.
- Support the annual labour cost review and survey process.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
Min. 3 years of relevant experience as a generalist
Experience working in the Security industry would be advantageous.
Possess a high energy level and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Confident, result-orientated, take initiative, and able to work under pressure
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of people.
Ability to work independently and efficiently under a tight deadline
High team spirit and commitment, systematic and target-oriented working style.
Must possess a high level of integrity and a positive working attitude.
Good knowledge of MS Office
