About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and people-oriented HR Business Partner to oversee the HR operations and strategic projects for their Singapore headquarters. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role will play a key part in talent management, shaping culture, driving engagement, and supporting business objectives during a period of organizational transformation. Total employee size: 200+ in Singapore.

You will lead day-to-day HR functions — from talent management, performance management, handling employee relations and employee engagement. You will be working in a HR team of 4 with each member being a specialist of the HR pillars so this is a individual contributor role.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, independent, and enjoys working in a fast-paced and productive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partner

Act as a strategic HR Business Partner, overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, learning & development, and HR operations to support organisational goals.

  • Partner closely with the Management team to drive the effective execution of key HR initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and seamless delivery across functions.

  • Develop a strong understanding of business needs and translate them into actionable HR strategies and plans that address capability gaps and support organisational growth.

  • Manage employee relations matters proactively, including handling grievances, facilitating feedback conversations, and ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of issues.

  • Collaborate with business leaders on talent development initiatives, including Learning & Development, Talent Reviews, Performance Management, and Compensation & Benefits-related matters.

  • Identify organisational training needs and drive targeted learning interventions to build capability and support business objectives.

  • Support and enhance the performance management framework, including goal setting, performance reviews, and salary review processes, while contributing to the development of effective performance metrics and evaluation tools.

  • Facilitate talent review discussions to assess performance, potential, and succession readiness; support career development planning and performance improvement initiatives to strengthen organisational bench strength.

  • Leverage HR data and analytics to generate insights, reports, and metrics that enable informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources or related discipline

  • At least 7–10 years of HR generalist experience, with exposure to both operational and strategic HR. Ideally you should know the Talent Management framework including 9-grid model.

  • Strong working knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices

  • High level of initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to engage across all levels

  • Positive, proactive, and people-first mindset
