Pre-Sales Engineer (AI Infrastructure) - #1160173

Role Summary

Technical counterpart to Sales for AI server infrastructure opportunities. Translate use-cases into validated architectures/BOMs/acceptance criteria; support PoCs and tenders.

Responsibilities

• Discovery & design: capture requirements, sizing, and reference architectures for single-node/small-pod AI servers.

• Storage: NVMe/JBOD, RAID/ZFS/Ceph/NAS (NFS/SMB), throughput/IOPS, data protection.

• Network: 25/100/200G Ethernet (RoCE), VLAN/LACP, ToR/aggregation, fabric validation (iperf/NCCL).

• Produce validated BOMs, diagrams, proposal text; align power/thermal & rack depth.

• Own PoC plans/success criteria; run benchmarks and acceptance tests with Engineers.

• RFP/tender support: compliance matrices, method statements, risks/assumptions.

• Vendor engagement: roadmaps, certs, deal registration.

Requirements

• 3–7 years in pre-sales/solutions for servers + (storage or networking).

• Hands-on Linux; can run/interpret fio/iperf/NCCL.

• Clear documentation (HLD/LLD), diagrams (Visio/Draw.io), BoM discipline.

• Comfortable presenting to technical & management audiences.

Certifications (plus, not required)

• Storage: Vendor NAS/SDS, ZFS/Ceph exposure.

• Networking: CCNP-level or equivalent; RoCE; NVIDIA/Mellanox familiarity.
