Job Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works in compliance with statutory regulations, including LEW duties under Singapore standards.

• Oversee and coordinate electrical aspects of road work maintenance, mill and patch, road signage installation, and pipe/cable laying projects.

• Prepare permit-to-work applications and ensure all works comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

• Supervise, guide, and inspect subcontractor works to ensure adherence to specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.

• Liaise with authorities and utility providers to arrange inspections, submissions, and approvals.

• Conduct troubleshooting of electrical systems, equipment, and temporary site power supplies.

• Maintain proper records, documentation, and certifications of electrical installations and maintenance activities.

• Provide technical support and coordinate with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) licence (at least Grade 7 or equivalent, issued by EMA Singapore).

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in electrical works for construction, infrastructure, or utilities projects.

• Sound knowledge of the Electricity Act, Code of Practice, and Singapore Standards relevant to electrical installations.

• Strong understanding of WSH regulations, safe work procedures, and environmental requirements.

• Able to read electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

• Good communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders and site teams.

• Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
