The Principal Physiotherapist serves as the clinical lead for physiotherapy services, overseeing the development, delivery, and quality assurance of rehabilitation programs. This senior role blends strategic leadership with expert clinical practice, ensuring exceptional standards in patient care, innovation, and staff development.
Key Clinical Duties
Lead and coordinate all Physiotherapy services across the practice
Supervise and mentor Physiotherapists and Therapy assistants
Design specialised treatment pathways and integrated care programs
Champion evidence-based practice and continuous service improvement
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Drive client engagement strategies and satisfaction outcomes
Conduct regular audits, outcome reviews, and professional development sessions
Represent Physiotherapy in clinical governance and strategic meetings
Support marketing and community education initiative related to rehabilitation
Deliver expert assessment and treatment for specialised caseloads

Required Education and Experience
Master/Bachelor in Physiotherapy, recognized by the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC).
Registered with AHPC and holding valid practicing certificate from AHPC.
BCLS+ AED Certificate
Relevant Post Graduate qualification is desirable
Minimum 10 years’ experience relevant experience in hospital or nursing home setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Microsoft office full suite, internet savvy
Proven expertise in advanced rehabilitation (eg, Neurorehabilitation, orthopaedics, geriatrics)
Strong background in quality assurance, mentorship, and client relations
Experience in private practice preferred
Postgraduate certifications or training in healthcare leadership will be advantageous
