Service Engineer - #1160096

Responsibilities:

• Lead the modification team to provide value-added service to customers.

• Create value engineering revenue for the Department.

• Provide technical assistance to all relevant departments, dealers, sub-contractors and customers.

• Attend customer complaints and technical enquiries; provide prompt and effective resolution (both on-site and through phone) to any product or service problem in accordance with pre-determined performance standards.

• Ensure all documentation (e.g., technical reports) is up-to-date and in order; ensure timely and accurate update in the Service information system for effective follow-up and decision making.

• Prepare periodic progress reports and feedback (e.g., on product quality and market information) to management.

• Actively involved in the implementation of function strategies and initiatives for the achievement of department goals.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed to achieve final organizational goals.

• Perform risk assessment to minimize risk at job site.

• Ensure job is carried out complying with safety guidelines from authority.

• Protect operations by keeping sensitive information confidential.

• Understand Internal Control Guidelines, the relevant policies and procedures pertaining to your job function and execute the controls conscientiously.

Requirements:

• Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in repair, servicing, and installation of air-conditioner for NITEC holder in Building Services Technology (Airconditioning & Refrigeration or Mechanical & Electrical Services) OR Minimum five (5) years’ site experience in air-con related industry for Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering

• Able to lead a team of technicians

• Experience in hot works (brazing etc) is preferred

• Good communication and written skills

• Service oriented

• Positive outlook

• Independent and have initiative

• Confident and able to work under pressure
