Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership & Execution
• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and design to execution, monitoring, and successful completion.
• Develop and implement project strategies, objectives, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.
2. Budget & Financial Management
• Establish, manage, and control project budgets to ensure financial efficiency and adherence to financial goals.
• Track expenses, negotiate contracts, and manage change orders and claims with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize project profitability and efficiency.
3. Stakeholder & Team Management
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, government agencies, contractors, and internal teams.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project managers, engineers, and site teams to foster a high-performance work environment.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment of objectives across all project stakeholders.
4. Quality & Safety Compliance
• Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to uphold construction quality and safety.
5. Risk Management & Problem-Solving
• Identify potential project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Resolve conflicts and unforeseen challenges promptly to minimize project disruptions.
• Ensure contingency plans are in place to address potential risks and delays.
6. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
• Drive innovation and efficiency in construction methods and project management practices.
• Implement best practices to enhance project delivery, team productivity, and overall operational performance.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
7. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
• Ensure projects adhere to legal, safety, and quality standards in alignment with industry regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals and compliance.
8. High-Level Representation & Negotiation
• Represent the company in high-level negotiations and project discussions with government entities, corporate partners, and other stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships to support business growth and project success.
9. Team Development & Mentorship
• Mentor and develop project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Provide leadership and support to ensure team members achieve their full potential.
10. Strategic Planning & Innovation
• Drive strategic initiatives to improve project delivery processes and outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including 5 years in senior leadership roles managing large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management tools, and local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
