Order Management / Customer Service (2-Year Contract) - #1159937

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with an established multinational organisation within the industrial solutions sector, and we are looking for a Order Management / Customer Service to support their Customer Service team on a 2-year contract basis.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in order management, customer service, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations who enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

• Employment Type: 2-Year Contract (renewable)
• Location: West Region
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm / 9am to 6pm
• Salary Package: Up to $4,500 + 2-month Completion Bonus

The Job:

• Manage customer accounts and oversee end-to-end order processing activities, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders regarding order status, delivery schedules, shipping arrangements, and enquiries.
• Coordinate closely with logistics service providers, warehouses, and regional stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery execution.
• Monitor order progress and shipment status, proactively escalating delays and resolving operational issues.
• Handle customer complaints, claims, and service-related enquiries professionally and effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures and standards.
• Prepare operational reports and support KPI tracking and analysis.
• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

The Talent:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in customer service, order fulfilment, logistics coordination, supply chain operations, or related functions.
• Prior experience within a logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, distribution, or 3PL environment will be advantageous.
• Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Good understanding of order management and transportation/logistics processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, or other reporting/automation tools will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
