JOB DESCRIPTION: Intervention Account Manager, Singapore
Primary Responsibilities and Job Scope
Sales and Business Development
Identify, develop, and track business opportunities within assigned strategic accounts, including public and private hospitals, specialty centers, and healthcare institutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Interventional Cardiologists, Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Neuro Interventionists, Procurement Teams, Nursing Staff, and Hospital Management.
Manage a portfolio with an annual sales target and achieve revenue growth through new business acquisition, tender participation, contract renewals, and product conversion opportunities.
Develop and execute account plans to increase market share and drive adoption of the company's interventional product portfolio.
Work closely with internal stakeholders and principals to develop strategies for customer retention, competitive conversions, and new product launches.
Clinical Support and Product Management
Provide product demonstrations, clinical support, and technical guidance during procedures where required.
Coordinate and conduct product training sessions, workshops, and educational programs for healthcare professionals.
Support product evaluations, clinical trials, and user assessments to facilitate product adoption.
Ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries, product issues, and service requirements.
Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, customer feedback, and emerging clinical trends to support business planning.
Marketing and Customer Engagement
Plan and execute marketing initiatives, scientific meetings, workshops, symposiums, and educational events in collaboration with principals and healthcare institutions.
Establish strong customer engagement programs to strengthen brand awareness and customer loyalty.
Maintain regular account reviews and provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market reports to management.
Educational and Work Experience Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Business, Marketing, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 years of medical device sales experience, preferably in Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular Intervention, Neuro Intervention, or related specialties.
Experience supporting procedures in operating theatres, catheterization laboratories (Cath Labs), or interventional suites will be an added advantage.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
Self-motivated, results-oriented team player with strong ownership and accountability.
Ability to work independently and execute initiatives in a timely manner.
Willingness to travel locally and overseas when required.
Possess a positive attitude, resilience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems is preferred.
