Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive / Coordinator / Assistant to support daily warehouse and freight operations. The role involves handling end-to-end import/export documentation, customs coordination, inventory management, and operational support to ensure smooth and compliant logistics processes.

The Job:

• Prepare full-set import and export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, COO, Bills of Lading, insurance documents, and Letters of Credit
• Handle Customs Permit declarations and ensure compliance with Singapore Customs regulations
• Coordinate with shipping agents, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers for shipment bookings and logistics arrangements
• Source and negotiate competitive freight and transportation rates
• Monitor shipment movements and provide timely updates on delivery status
• Execute warehouse operations according to established SOPs and customer requirements
• Maintain accurate inventory records for inbound and outbound cargo movements
• Conduct cycle counts and stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy
• Support warehouse planning, space utilization, and operational efficiency initiatives
• Liaise closely with internal departments, customers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure smooth operational flow
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues professionally and promptly
• Conduct incident investigations and prepare relevant operational reports
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Operations Manager

The Talent:

• Diploma qualification with at least 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations
• Possess a valid Singapore Customs Permit Declarant Licence
• Good understanding of Singapore Customs regulations and import/export procedures
• Experience working in a licensed warehouse environment will be advantageous
• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
