Our client is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join their team!

Other Information:

  • Working Day: Retail Shift (Rotation Shift)

  • Working Hour: 44 hours/week, more than 44 hours will be compensate with Off-in-lieu

  • Working Location: Orchard

  • Salary Range: $3200-$3600


What you'll be doing?

  • Assist in kitchen operations: Collaborate closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, ensuring smooth service delivery and food quality.

  • Prepare and cook food: Create delicious dishes according to company standards, ensuring timely service and meeting quality expectations.

  • Supervise kitchen staff: Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff during food preparation and service, fostering a collaborative team environment.

  • Maintain kitchen hygiene: Uphold cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

  • Monitor stock levels: Assist with inventory control and ordering, ensuring adequate supplies for kitchen operations.


Who are they looking for?

  • Experienced professionals: Minimum of 3 years professional kitchen experience, preferably in a similar role.

  • Knowledgeable in culinary arts: Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations is essential.

  • Leadership skills: Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with junior staff, fostering teamwork and a positive kitchen atmosphere.

  • Attention to detail: Commitment to maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation.

  • Food safety compliance: Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with a commitment to upholding them in all kitchen activities.

  • Willingness to learn: Openness to continuous learning and adaptation to support the team's evolving needs.
