Brief Summary:
We are seeking an experienced technical leader to oversee a team dedicated to the design and development of advanced equipment. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation and enhance product performance in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of design engineers through the entire lifecycle of semiconductor equipment development, from conception to execution.

• Conduct Continuous Improvement Programs (CIP) to optimize product lifecycle, competitiveness, and profitability.

• Perform reliability and feasibility testing, along with necessary verifications.

• Collaborate with Technical Sales to evaluate specifications, costing, and product assessments.

• Address and resolve all technical issues related to the product family in the field.

• Ensure optimal product performance on-site and address service and sales inquiries.

• Review design drawings and provide constructive feedback during project meetings.

• Investigate design-related complaints from customers and field operations.

• Assist in managing BOM, drawings, and documentation with manufacturing teams.

• Handle mechanical issues related to sorters and other products following transfer from R&D.

• Perform additional tasks as required by the supervisor to meet business needs.

Requirements:

• Degree/Master in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Several years of experience in designing automation machinery.

• Proven technical expertise in semiconductor equipment development, focusing on ultra-high precision and high-speed mechanisms.

• Proficient in technical drawing using tools such as Creo or SolidWorks.

• Knowledgeable about semiconductor packaging and assembly processes.

• Experience as a technical leader with strong project management skills.

• Demonstrated systematic problem-solving capabilities using tools like 8D, Ishikawa, or DIVE.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate team members, including conflict resolution.
