Resident Engineer (Network) - #1133373

Job Responsibilities:

• Management of network incidents escalations from L1/L2, incident and problem and security incident response.

• Responsible to work with the respective infra teams in troubleshooting and identify root cause, related to network.

• Responsible to work with the respective network vendors’ support teams for the troubleshooting, identification and resolution of network problems.

• Handling of the critical network incidents under pressure situations to resolve in timely manner to minimize the business impact.

• Attend to conference calls with other support teams for problem identification and resolutions.

• Support basic network operation using GUI and tools, including daily health check, end user support, weekly/monthly routine operation

• Perform configuration on network equipment

• Software upgrade and patch update of network equipment

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, engineering/telecommunication with distinction.

• CCIP, HCIP, CCIE and HCIE will be an added advantage.

• Minimum 2 years of working experience for networking implementation and maintenance.

• Experience with coordinating with multiple vendors for network deployment.

• Pro-active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking.

• Logical thinking and problem analysis skills to troubleshoot complex network problem to isolate the root cause and provide suitable resolution.

• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.

• Meticulous, dateline oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task.
