Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the transition of a new product from the design phase to mass production, ensuring quality, manufacturability, and timely launch

• Project Management: Leading NPI projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. Communicating project progress and results to stakeholders

• Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with design, manufacturing, and other engineering teams. Facilitating communication and collaboration between different departments. Providing feedback to design engineers on manufacturability issues

• Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Reviewing product designs for manufacturability and ease of assembly. Identifying potential manufacturing issues and recommending design changes

• Process Development: Developing and documenting manufacturing processes, work instructions, and quality control procedures. Ensuring that processes are robust, repeatable, and efficient

• Manufacturing Support: Overseeing and supporting pilot builds and production ramps. Identifying and resolving any manufacturing issues that arise during the transition. Supporting the selection and validation of tooling and equipment

• Quality Assurance: Ensuring that new products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Developing and implementing quality control plans. Participating in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other risk assessment processes

• Continuous Improvement: Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. Analysing data to identify trends and areas for optimization

• Any other tasks as assigned by Reporting Officer

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics), or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in high precision assembly or design

• Project Management Skills-Experience in managing projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and monitoring

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes- direct experience in mechanics, electronics, control systems, pneumatics, hydraulics in semiconductor industry

• Knowledge in Assembly of mechatronics systems, linear motors, sensors, servos, actuators, dynamics, controls, etc

• Complex mechatronic systems for test and qualification of design changes

• Exposure to multi-disciplinary projects, such as imaging/optical systems, semiconductor, or lithography preferred but not mandatory

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and able to perform root cause analysis & resolve problems on a conceptual and advanced trouble shooting level

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in reading and updating technical drawings

• Experience in Cleanroom
