Job Objective

The Technician is responsible for the hands-on operation and support of semiconductor manufacturing equipment to meet production targets with high yield and quality. The role includes first-level troubleshooting, basic equipment maintenance, quality inspections, and close collaboration with Engineers to ensure stable and efficient operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate semiconductor manufacturing equipment to meet production output, yield, and quality requirements.

• Perform first-level troubleshooting and fault diagnosis to minimise equipment downtime.

• Carry out basic maintenance and minor repair works on equipment in accordance with standard procedures.

• Assist Engineers in maintaining accurate process documentation and operational records.

• Provide guidance and work support to junior Technicians and Operators when required.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Conduct quality inspections using magnifying tools or microscopes to ensure product conformance.

• Perform hands-on operational duties and provide back-up support for Operator roles when necessary.

• Adhere strictly to all safety, quality, and cleanroom procedures.

• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisors or Management.

Compensation & Benefits

• Monthly Basic Salary (commensurate with experience)

• Fixed Monthly Allowances (e.g. transport / shift / cleanroom – details to be shared during offer stage)

• AWS (13th Month Bonus)

• Variable Bonus (VB) based on company and individual performance

• Annual leave and benefits in accordance with company policy and Singapore employment regulations

Qualification Requirements

Education

• Professional Certificate / NITEC in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.

• Semiconductor industry experience is mandatory.

Knowledge and Skills

• Careful and meticulous in handling delicate semiconductor wafers and components.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong team player with a positive and responsible working attitude.

• Able to interact effectively with colleagues across different levels and functions.
